Sarah Turner is a Brooklyn based oil painter. She received a BA from the University of Dallas in English Literature and Oil Painting and is currently continuing her studies at the Grand Central Atelier. She uses the language of composition and color to create narrative interior scenes which explore themes of isolation, home and family. She is interested in the feminine influence of American Aesthetics via domestic curation and craft. She draws inspiration from the homes and spaces of loved ones, 20th century poetry, and her own New England roots.
